Giving back to the Community

The world is the most connected it’s ever been. Conversely, people are the most disconnected we’ve ever been. When Sarah and Brenda opened Lucille, one of their main goals was to foster a sense of community. Wine itself has a long and rich history of bringing people together. At Lucille, we are committed to building that community through our wine tastings and events. We are grateful to expand our giving back with philanthropic endeavors. Lucille Wine Shop does this through donations, but also though partnerships with organizations that align with the values we hold dear. Since opening, we have provided support in many ways, and hope to further bring people together around a good cause. Read more about our partnerships and how we choose them below.

Our Mission

We seek organizations that champion issues that speak to our hearts and our identity. For us, as a women owned business in Lynn, that means supporting women’s rights and uplifting the community locally. Below are the organizations we’ve partnered with and donated to that align with that goal.

Partnerships

Girls Inc

Our second annual block party and fundraiser for Girls Inc raised $1,700 for the organization. Last year, we raised $1,150. We look forward to an even bigger event next year! 100% of ticket sales are donated.

World central kitchen

We raised over $5,000 for World Central Kitchen in their efforts to aid Ukraine through a large scale tasting/party fundraiser.
